Production Manager

Marvel Entertainment, affiliate of The Walt Disney Company | January 2020 - Present

  • Build processes to bridge gaps in the production process, automate recurring tasks, and streamline workflow.

  • Timeline management: Communicate and adjust production schedules. Maintain a close eye on delivery schedule, while maintaining a qualitative delivery.

  • Communicate with legal as needed on behalf of the producers, and maintain legal processes on the show, including NDAs, guest releases, etc.

  • Establish and maintain meeting agendas - leading team members through a list of priorities.

  • Maintain weekly audio tracker, marketing elements tracker, and other documentation as necessary.

  • Spearhead the creation of video assets for marketing and provide support to other teams for the creation of all other marketing assets.

  • Coordination with the Business Development and Editorial teams as necessary to ensure smooth communication around all initiatives.

  • Assist in Talent Coordination, where necessary.

  • Maintain file organization and archiving protocols for audio projects.

  • Assist in contract negotiation and deal memo creation and working with Legal to build out and execute contracts for freelancers and production companies (across Digital Media).

  • Help to guide and develop junior members of the Production Management team.

  • Lead special projects and other initiatives as they come up.

Director of Operations

FRIGID New York Theater Group | January 2020 - Present

  • Guide independent producers developing new theatrical productions, support wherever needed

  • Field and track new work submissions, prepare scripts, organize a database of playwrights and artists

  • Collaborate with Production and Artistic teams to ensure successful execution of artistic vision

  • Design and manage our membership program, own and track communications and benefits

  • Negotiate terms, draft and send contracts, and trigger invoice order-of-operations

  • Manage Monday.com: Build strategy, design workflow, maintain CRM, create forms, and collect and analyze data 

  • Lead ongoing meetings to track KPIs, establish expectations, and address team needs

Marketing Manager

FRIGID New York Theater Group | October 2018 - January 2020

  • Led marketing meetings to plan campaigns, analyze data, identify needs, and report progress 

  • Owned and designed social media strategy until 2020, later hired and managed a dedicated Social Media Manager as our team grew and the scope of my role expanded

  • Liaised between internal staff and producing artists to collect content and develop a sales strategy

  • Press and community outreach; developed messaging and executed communication

  •  Created print, digital, and video materials for social media campaigns, pitch decks, investor proposals, grant applications, newsletters, and print marketing

Producer

High Stakes Theater Company, Independent Projects | November 2015 - January 2020

  • Auditioned performers, selected production teams, and developed scripts and concepts

  • Determined seasonal programming, selected scripts to develop from submissions, scouted local readings

  • Procured all necessary rights and insurance policies

  • Communicated efficiently between artistic and administrative teams to reconcile conflicting priorities

  • Created, produced a flagship program with a large team (Improvised Buffy). Ran monthly for two years

  • Managed budget, kept records, executed monthly tax-deductible donations to local nonprofits

  • Upgraded our venue twice to increase capacity to meet audience demand. Reliably sold at 80% capacity on Tuesday nights using low-budget targeted marketing

  • Produced a series of special events under the TV Tuesdays brand; included participatory screenings, live performances, and a four-day festival

Spun off from the Improvised Buffy team with an all-Black cast and director, also interrupted by the pandemic.

After receiving my degree, I was invited to produce Larry Shue’s 1980 play The Nerd at Hunter College in service of training designers and stage managers for the Hunter Theater Department.
